Film Synopsis:
Nearly every two minutes in America someone is sexually assaulted. More often than not, these victims are children. However, no matter your age, gender, upbringing, race, or belief, anyone is susceptible to being abused. Teal Voices explores the various myths behind sexual abuse, how society perceives the epidemic and responds to it, how it affects victims, and how we can better support the survivors in our lives. Watch as survivors share their hard-hitting testimonies and professionals explain the various elements of sexual abuse and coping. No one deserves to be abused. Teal Voices affords viewers an eye-opening, educational experience that will hopefully change society's views on sexual abuse and spark growth in advocating to end sexual violence.
